Finesse Planning is owned and run by me, Ruth Hunter. I started my events and weddings career over 8 years ago working as a Senior Conference & Banqueting Executive for a 4 star hotel. During my time there I helped plan and organise dozens of weddings and events allowing me to gain a true understanding of events both from the clients point of view as well as understanding how functions operate behind the scenes. This has proven to be critical in running a smooth event and allows me to work well with the venue and catering teams.
I have always been involved in the hospitality and events industry, including running my own restaurant with my husband where we would host and run weddings and events. As well as running the venue I also offered my planning services to our clients. Quality of food was paramount to me then and I still use this knowledge to ensure that venues provide the standards I expect.
As well as being highly experienced I am also certified as a qualified wedding planner from The Wedding Planner School. I am able to offer you both a highly professional and extremely friendly service based on these things...just ask anyone who's used me!
When people ask me what my favourite part of a wedding is, I tell them it's the 'thank you' hug I receive at the end of the day, confirming that I have helped make someone's dreams come true. An unbeatable feeling. Why not call me to see if I can do the same for you?
